3D printers are often called the most professional tool for rapid prototyping. Until now, many people have only known ordinary 3D printers assembled in Vietnam. These are not very stable and do not meet the needs of mid-range and higher-end customers. Knowing this, we partnered with HyVISION, a respected Korean 3D printer maker in Asia, to bring in the Cubicon 3D printer line.
Cubicon 3D printers use FDM technology and have many standout features. Here are some examples of what makes this line stand out and why it suits the Vietnamese market:
- Automatic bed leveling with a CAM mechanism.
- Heated print bed for printing different plastics.
- Fast print head speed (500 mm/s).
- 100% enclosed build chamber with heat convection inside.
- Odor filter system that is safe for your health.
- 12-month official warranty and lifetime technical support after the warranty ends.
- Training and technology transfer in Vietnam.

What determines how stable a 3D printer is?
For business users, “stability” means the printer succeeds many times in a row with the same quality, needs little calibration and rarely breaks down. This depends on both hardware and software, not just the brand or country of origin:
- A rigid frame: reduces vibration when the print head moves fast, so dimensions are more accurate.
- A quality motion system: good rods, rails and belts keep accuracy over the long term.
- Temperature control: the nozzle and bed hold a steady temperature, and an enclosed chamber blocks drafts.
- Helpful sensors: filament runout, jam and power loss detection prevent ruined prints.
- Software and firmware: presets for each material and regular bug-fix updates.
Routine maintenance keeps prints consistent
Even a good printer needs maintenance. A simple schedule usually includes: cleaning the bed before each print so the first layer sticks; checking and cleaning the nozzle when the filament comes out unevenly; lubricating the motion axes as the manufacturer recommends; checking belt tension every month; and storing filament in a sealed box with desiccant, because damp filament causes bubbles, pitted surfaces and weaker parts.
Where you place the printer matters too
Put the 3D printer on a solid table that does not shake. Keep it out of direct airflow from fans or air conditioners, because drafts cool the part unevenly and cause layer splitting. A steady room temperature and moderate humidity give more consistent results. For ABS, place the printer in a well-ventilated area or use one with an air filter.
If you need consistent print quality but do not want to buy and maintain a printer yet, you can use CT3D’s 3D printing service with technologies such as FDM, resin and PA12. Call Hotline/Zalo 0975 008 728 for advice.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a 3D printer that was working fine suddenly fail?
Common causes are a partly clogged nozzle, a dirty or unlevel bed, damp filament, loose belts, or drafts cooling the part unevenly. Checking these one by one usually finds the problem quickly.
How should 3D printing filament be stored?
Keep filament in a sealed bag or box with desiccant, away from sunlight and damp places. Some types, such as nylon, TPU and PETG, absorb moisture quickly and may need drying before printing if left out for a long time.
How often should a 3D printer be maintained?
Clean the bed before every print and check the nozzle when something looks wrong. Lubricating the axes and checking the belts is usually done monthly or after the number of print hours the manufacturer recommends.
Does a 3D printer need to be in an air-conditioned room?
No, but a steady temperature gives more even prints. The key is to keep air from the AC or fans from blowing directly on the printer, especially when printing ABS, as it easily causes warping and layer cracks.
