COMETRUE T10 3D PRINTER
The ComeTrue® T10 3D printer and CurieJet® Gas Piezo Micropump were among the products honored with the 24th Taiwan Excellence Award (out of 1,180 entries), judged on research & development (R&D), design, quality, marketing and manufacturing in Taiwan.
The ComeTrueⓇ T10 desktop color 3D printer creatively combines Microjet’s patented inkjet print heads with rapid prototyping technology and supporting systems.
ComeTrueⓇ software slices the 3D data, and the ComeTrueⓇ T10 builds the object layer by layer (0.08 or 0.12 mm). It jets a liquid binder onto a very thin layer of powder, while the color heads add CMYK color to create full-color parts.
Finally, the finished color print is infiltrated with a resin solution so it becomes hard, strong and glossy.

Frequently asked questions
How is multicolor powder 3D printing different from multicolor FDM printing?
Powder color printing jets ink directly into each powder layer, so it can produce smooth, continuous color gradients like a printed photo. Multicolor FDM usually switches between a few fixed filament colors and struggles to produce smooth gradients.
Are full-color powder prints water-resistant and strong?
Full-color powder prints are mainly for display. They are not suited to carrying loads or regular contact with water. After infiltration with a hardening resin they get stronger, but you should still keep them away from impacts and humid conditions.
What file format do I need for color 3D printing?
You need a format that stores color data, such as OBJ with textures, VRML or PLY. STL files carry no color, so they only work for single-color prints.
What do I need to prepare for a full-color 3D portrait figurine?
You usually need a full-body or half-body color 3D scan. The data is then cleaned up, and the pose and colors are adjusted before printing. The person being scanned should stand still, wear clothes that are not shiny, and avoid very thin details so the figurine is more durable.
