How are polyresin Catholic statues made?
Polyresin statues start from a master sculpted in clay or created with 3D technology. A silicone mold is made from it and a mix of resin and stone powder is poured in. After demolding, the statue is hand-finished, sanded and hand-painted.
What are the benefits of high-tech statue scaling?
Scaling with 3D scanning and 3D printing or CNC keeps the proportions between all parts correct when enlarging or shrinking. This way statues in different sizes keep the same character as the original.

Yes. The workshop can make a master from photos, sketches or an existing statue, then make the mold and produce the quantity you order. Time and cost depend on size, level of detail and quantity.

How many casts can a silicone mold make?
It depends on the type of silicone, how complex the model is and how the mold is stored. A properly made mold with a support jacket to hold its shape, cleaned after every pour, will last longer.
